This is Gayle, President and CEO of Terracon, operating four service lines— environmental, facilities, geotechnical and materials. She leads over 4,500 employee-owners in more than 150 offices in the U.S.
We met in 2017 when a couple of us flew to Kansas to pitch Terracon to help with culture and strategic planning. At the time we met, she was Chief Administrative Officer, Executive Vice President and Senior Principal. Gayle has five degrees. B.A., B.S., M.S., Political Science, Int’l Studies, & Agricultural Economics, JD, Law and LLM Agricultural Law. What makes Gayle extraordinary is her humility. She never flaunts her brilliance, never shows up as the smartest person in the room. She works extremely hard and is off the charts intelligent, but she makes you feel like you are the most important person in the room. She really listens and then decides. She’s incredibly competent and still she asks for advice of her team. Her level of leadership is game changing, and she is someone to watch as she continues to make her mark.
